Our comprehensive youth group at John Divine Missionary Baptist offers many opportunities for youth and adults to get involved in Christian service. We invite you to join us in changing lives by loving God and loving people as He loves us. If you have an interest in Christian ministry, love children, and earnestly desire to make a difference in their lives, then we have a place for you!
Our youth leaders invest themselves in creating a safe place where young people can hear the Gospel, have wholesome, fun fellowship, ask questions, and receive practical but Scripture based answers that work in today’s world. We help them understand that they were created by God with the potential to achieve wonderful things and that the key lies in their spiritual strength. Our belief is that faith in God will build self-confidence and open the door to unlimited possibilities and blessings.
Our Christian youth group in East St. Louis, IL, is the perfect place for adolescents to meet new friends and connect with adult mentors. We always welcome new members and encourage everyone to bring friends or siblings. During our group meetings, we share the word of God and praise Him in song, introduce ourselves, and explain why we’re excited to be a part of this life-changing experience, answer questions, plan our next meeting, and have some fun.
